I am feeling quite old today so I thought using some hip and happening lingo might help me feel a bit better. How the heck are you guys? I promised this post would be live last week and sadly I have not managed to stick to my self-imposed deadline. We won’t go into the why because it’s not important, what is important is that Kim and I are THRILLED to tell you that we will be hosting our very first Two Babes event and it is going to be a clothes swap. Yes!!!
Have you ever been to one? Do you know what you’re in for? If not, just keep reading.
The idea is a fairly simple one, we all have gently worn items in our wardrobes which no longer fit our bodies or our current sense of personal style. Instead of holding on to these, why not join us in swapping them for items you would like to wear?
We’d love to see a wide variety of women attend so that we can tick all possible style boxes, we’d also like to ensure that all the items to be swapped meet the same standard. So with that in mind, let’s get into the nitty-gritty:
If you would like to attend the swap, you will need to complete the form below to register your interest, please complete all the fields.
You will then need to chat to us about when you could drop off (or we could collect) the items you would like to swap. We would like to collect everything in advance so that we can check them all out and set up easily on the day.
Once we have received and checked all of your items, we will let you know how many made it to the swap.
You will then receive a corresponding number of vouchers, so if you donated 5 items to swap, and we only approved 3, you will receive 3 vouchers. You will only be able to take the number of items you have “donated” to the swap.
As we start collecting items, we will share images on social media so you can get an idea of the kind of items that are coming through.
So what can you donate?

All items of clothing
All unused or barely used cosmetics
Gently worn accessories
What you cannot donate:
Kids clothing
Underwear
Any broken or stained items

If you would like to take part in the Two Babes On A Budget clothes swap event, please fill in your details in the form below and you will be automatically registered. Event registration must be completed at least six (6) days prior to the event.
